Importing OpenDBL into OPNsense via URL Table Aliases
OPNsense features native URL Table (IPs) aliases that automatically download, refresh, and apply external blocklists.

Create URL Table Alias
In OPNsense Web GUI, navigate to Firewall > Aliases and click + Add.

Configure List Parameters
Set Name to OpenDBL_Blocklist, Type to URL Table (IPs), paste URL (e.g. https://opendbl.net/lists/dshield-expanded.list), and set Update Frequency to 1 (daily or every 15 min).

Attach Alias to Automation Rule
Go to Firewall > Rules > WAN, add a rule with Action Block, Source OpenDBL_Blocklist, and save & apply changes.
