About the Founder
OpenDBL is maintained independently by Daniel Husand (founder of Fnutt Consulting). Daniel currently serves as Director Systems Engineering at Fortinet, and previously held systems engineering roles at Palo Alto Networks, Check Point Software Technologies, and Cisco Systems.
Feed Integrity & Safeguards
To protect production enterprise firewalls, all 3rd-party threat intelligence feeds undergo automated sanity filtering prior to publication. These safeguards automatically strip private network blocks, core public DNS infrastructure, and overly broad subnets, while continuously monitoring for anomalous feed surges.
All use of OpenDBL services is at your own risk. This service is provided by Fnutt Consulting and is in no way affiliated with Palo Alto Networks, Check Point Software Technologies, Fortinet, Cisco Systems, or F5. While Fnutt Consulting takes reasonable precautions to ensure feed reliability, no responsibility is accepted for loss or disruption.
