Importing OpenDBL into Cloudflare Account IP Lists & WAF

Cloudflare supports reusable Account IP Lists which can be referenced across WAF Custom Rules, Gateway Policies, and Firewall Rules.

Create Cloudflare Account IP List

In Cloudflare Dashboard, navigate to Manage Account > Configurations > Lists and click Create new list.

Upload / Sync OpenDBL IPs

Upload standalone IP lists from OpenDBL (e.g. https://opendbl.net/lists/ipsum.list) manually or via Cloudflare API v4 list endpoints.

Reference List in WAF Rule

Under Security > WAF > Custom Rules, create a rule: ip.src in $opendbl_blocklist with Action set to Block or Managed Challenge.
